Binnune may not yet have the same recognition as more established brands, but they are becoming a contender in the gaming headset market, too. Lightweight, comfortable and with an audio tune customised for gaming, the binnune headset has surprised me in all the right ways.
There are a couple of areas where Binnune could make improvements, but considering the price and that this is one of their widely available wireless models, I think Binnune has made a solid headset.

Design and build
I love some of the detail that has gone into this binnune gaming headset. The understated colourway is very tastefully integrated, with clean stitching around the padded headband and a solid finish on the ear cups. The headset is lightweight and the construction feels sturdy, with no creaking components when flexed.
The ear cups are chunky without being oversized, and they are well assembled, while the ear pads are stuffed with plenty of soft foam and coated with supple leatherette. It is very comfortable, but can become warm over longer sessions compared to fabric coverings. I found the sizing to be ample to fully cover the ears, and wearing the headset correctly created an effective acoustic seal, which is important for sound quality and passive noise reduction.
Binnune has judged the clamping force well; some headsets can squeeze across the temples or below the ears, but this headset sits comfortably for my taste. It is also well suited to glasses-wearers, as the ear pads are soft enough that they will not press on the arms and cause discomfort, although the seal is slightly reduced, which is common.
Sound Quality
The binnune gaming headset has a gamer-focused audio tuning with a mostly neutral profile, with emphasis on mids and lower high end, making the audio bright and clear. It is refreshing to hear a sound profile that understands what its target market needs. The bass remains punchy but is not overwhelming, allowing mids and treble to shine through.
There is a minor tendency for sound to become muddied when there is a lot happening across all frequencies, but within this price range, performance is above average. Overall, Binnune has balanced the tuning well, especially in a binnune wireless gaming headset that is widely accessible. Although this audio tune is suited to gaming, it lacks warmth. If you spend time watching movies or listening to music, there are other options, but with EQ adjustment it is more than adequate for mixed use.
At higher volumes, the headset has a moderate amount of distortion, which reduces clarity. If you prefer using your headset at maximum volume, this may not be ideal, but it performs well when kept at a reasonable level.

All of the controls are located on the left ear cup, and I found them easy to locate and operate. I like how it only takes a single press to turn on the headset, rather than a press and hold; it is a minor quality of life improvement, but once you use it, you wonder why that is not the standard.
The headset includes a power button, USB-C port for charging, 3.5mm jack for analogue connection, mic mute switch, volume dial, and the microphone connection. Having the mic mute easily accessible is a bonus, and although there is no software to adjust mic monitoring and volume, chat balance, or the audio profile, it is straightforward to adjust these within software like Discord if needed.
Connectivity
The binnune 2.4ghz wireless gaming headset can also be used with devices via the included 3.5mm cable, and it comes paired to its wireless dongle, making it a simple plug-and-play connection. Although it has a USB-C port, it is used for charging and does not transmit audio.
You can use the binnune wireless gaming headset with PC, Mac, PS4, PS5, and the Switch when docked, making it a well-rounded headset if you use multiple consoles and do not mind switching the dongle. Wireless range is above average, maintaining connection up to around six metres without drops, lowering slightly if there are obstructions. I found the range adequate to allow walking to the kitchen for a drink without losing connection.
An unexpected but useful feature is that if you connect the binnune headset with the 3.5mm cable, it turns off the headset completely, so you will not run the battery down. This is useful if you use the headset as a multi-purpose device; you can use it for calls on your commute, then switch to wireless at home with confidence that you have battery life remaining. It should be noted that the mic mute switch does not function in analogue mode.
Microphone quality
The microphone is what you would expect from a headset in this price range. Clarity is decent, although bass tones are subdued, which means it is not an exact representation of your voice. The pickup pattern is omnidirectional, making it easy to capture your voice even if the mic is slightly out of place, although it can pick up keyboard noise during use.
There are guide notches on the mic and headset for proper connection, and when snapped into place, it fits securely. The boom is flexible enough to position close to the mouth, preventing plosives and breathing noise from affecting calls.
Battery life
Battery life is rated up to 120 hours in Bluetooth mode and around 80 hours in 2.4GHz mode, which is more than enough for several days of use for most users. There is no detailed battery indicator, and when the headset drops to a low level, a warning will sound indicating limited time before shutdown.
Charging is done via USB-C and is relatively fast, taking a few hours for a full charge, while a short charge can provide several hours of use, making it convenient if you need to top up quickly.
Summary
I am impressed with what Binnune has achieved with this headset. It has clean styling and solid build quality, giving it a premium feel beyond what you would expect from a budget-friendly binnune wireless gaming headset. The microphone could be improved, and the lack of advanced software features is noticeable, but it is forgivable.
Overall, the binnune headset is a reliable option within its price range. The clear, bright gamer-focused audio tuning is well suited to gaming, and if you need a binnune gaming headset wireless that will not let you down, this headset is a solid choice for your setup.
